The hotel is located in a great area, with easy access to local ski stations, shopping, and sightseeing. The room we stayed in was small but beautifully decorated, giving it a very cozy atmosphere. The prices were fantastic, especially considering the value we received. Additionally, the breakfast offered was basic but satisfying, with coffee, juice, toast, cereal.
Minor improvements can be made, but overall it was a great stay.

Appreciated our rooms with a working fire place. The location was stunning and marvellous yet it was short walk from downtown area, just 5 minutes by foot. This was our second really great stay here and we would stay there again.

The value for money at this hotel is excellent. The prices are very reasonable and the attention to detail is commendable. The location is terrific, placed in the midst of some wonderful countryside with scenic drives in every direction. It's a great spot for gold prospecting, especially for those who suffered during last August. Additionally, the hotel is conveniently located just 10 minutes from Killington's Skyeship gondola and 20 minutes from the main K1 Lodge. The service and staff are exceptional, ensuring that all your needs are met. The basic amenities provided are satisfactory, and the rooms are nice and clean with everything you need for a comfortable stay. However, it would be wise to give the hotel a call before booking to confirm whether or not the kitchen and bar will be open.
All was fine, no areas for improvement were noticed.

We had a fantastic experience at a cozy inn in Vermont. The location was perfect, with a circular fireplace in the carriage house right next to the main building. The room was spacious and comfortable, with a hot shower and plenty of water pressure in the bathroom. The staff was friendly and provided excellent service. Breakfast was delicious and included in the price. We also enjoyed playing pool and board games in their game room. The view from our room was stunning, with beautiful scenery all around.
One downside was the steep and narrow stairs leading to some of the rooms.

The cozy and fun atmosphere of the hotel adds to the overall experience. The rooms are a nice size, with comfortable beds and hot water for showers. The location of this Vermont inn is absolutely perfect, nestled deep in the wooded hills of rural Vermont, yet conveniently close to the popular village of Woodstock and the ski resort of Killington. It offers the best of both worlds, allowing you to enjoy the tranquility of nature while still having easy access to nearby attractions and activities. Additionally, the inn has a variety of rooms to choose from, including some with atmospheric gas fireplaces, providing a cozy and comfortable stay.
One downside is that the heating system in some of the rooms needs improvement. It can only be turned up to 68 degrees and even then, it only works for a short period of time.

The room was spacious and comfortable with a cozy gas fireplace. The friendly staff provided good service and were helpful during our stay. The location was convenient, being within a short driving distance of Okemo, Killington, and Woodstock. Additionally, the free Wi-Fi was a nice plus for staying connected.
There were a few aspects that didn't meet expectations. The lack of kitchen and bar services was a disappointment, as we had to leave the inn for dinner and cocktails.

This hotel is advertised as being convenient for skiing at Killington – not really true, not close. However, its location is terrific, smack bang in the middle of some wonderful countryside and scenic drives in every direction. It's perfect for traveling to local ski stations, shopping, and site seeing. The rooms have charm and are very basic. The staff is friendly and the service is good. The breakfast is made to order and very good. Prices are reasonable, making it a great value for money.
